NEW IN CROSS-BORDER TRANSMISSION
New rules for cross-border transfer of personal data came into force on March 1 of this year. Since then, Roskomnadzor has only banned organizations from cross-border transfer of Russian citizens' data three times, Roskomnadzor specialist Anna Kononenko said at a webinar. In total, the agency received 733 notifications of companies' intention to carry out cross-border transfer of Russian citizens' personal data, she noted.
